When Shannon first started her health journey, she found that most slow cooker recipes available on the internet did not align with her health goals. Dissatisfied, she started creating her own, healthy slow cooker recipes using whole ingredients. She loves developing recipes and demonstrating that healthy cooking can taste good. She doesn't follow a particular diet so her recipes include a variety of healthy slow cooker. pressure cooker, and air fryer dishes that are paleo, Whole30, low-carb, keto compatible, etc. She even has recipes that use rice or pasta! What you won't find in her recipes is processed sugar--instead you'll find honey or something similar. Shannon also prefers homemade seasoning blends made using common spices to store-bought seasoning packets. She aims for her recipes to be healthy, approachable, and absolutely delicious.
